This is the first minor version upgrade release of CSV Manager. If you've already invested CSV Manager 1.1, don't worry! You get CSV Manager 1.2 free! You'll always get free upgrades to minor versions, and discounted upgrades to new major versions.

Java Beans

We now include support for the Java Beans specification 1.01. This means you can load and save Java Bean objects to CSV files using all the easy features of CSV Manager. Take a look at the example code if you want to know more.

Data streams

There's a new way to load and save CSV. CsvLoader loads CSV files one line at a time. You get each line when you ask for it. CsvSaver saves CSV files one line at a time. You save each line when you have it. Instead of loading all your data at once, or writing call-back handlers, these interfaces are very direct and easy to work with. The database example shows you how.

Simplified method names

The CsvManager object has too many methods. We had load and save methods for each data source (String, File, InputStream, ...) and for each data structure (List, ResultSet, TableModel, ...). So we've redesigned the load and save methods. Now you can specify you data source or data sink as a Java Object. CSV Manager will work out what to do with it. Here's the list of these new methods.

FREE XML Manager

XML Manager now comes FREE with CSV Manager. When you buy any CSV Manager license, you get a free XML Manager single developer license as well. CSV Manager and XML Manager are designed to work together and they make it really easy to convert CSV to XML and XML to CSV.

FREE Email Support

And finally we've included a six month email support package worth $1500.00 with every CSV Manager license. Why? Because we will support you and get your project up and running.
