FREE XML Manager Trial Download

Try XML Manager FREE for 30 days!

XML Manager lets you load and save data from XML files using XPath and Java. The XML is processed in a single pass and does not need to be stored in memory, allowing you to handle XML of any size. XML Manager also includes a high-performance, memory-stable, fault-tolerant processing engine so that you can verify data transfers, recover from errors, and monitor statistics and performance.

  • 1. Download the trial jar file
  • 2. Put the jar file in your CLASSPATH
  • 3. Get Started!
Download Here: xmlman-trial.jar (323Kb)

Internet Explorer may want to save this jar file as a zip file. In this case, please rename it to a jar file after it has finished downloading.

This jar file is the XML Manager component jar file only. It does not include any documentation or examples, but don't worry, all of our documentation is available online — just follow the links on the left side-bar.

Thanks for taking the time to try XML Manager out!

Help! It Won't Work!

We're happy to help you get the trial working with your data. Please use our contact form and we'll get right back to you.

Where Do I Go Next?

Don't You Want My Details?

We are not a big faceless corporation. We do not want your email address, so we can pester you with "marketing" emails. We do not want your real address, so we can pester you with "marketing" letters. We do not want your phone number, so we can call you at dinner time. We do not want to know your birthday, so we can cross-correlate your identity. We do not want to know who you work for, so we can try to charge you a higher price. We do not want to know your mother's maiden name, so we can...um, what do big companies want that for any way? Beats me...

We do want you to try our components, as easily as possible, and then buy them if you think they're great. You're not a prospect, you're a person, and we respect that.

So What's The Catch?

The download is a 30-day trial of the complete functionality of the component - nothing is missing. It just won't work after 30 days.

When you download the full version, you don't get all the supporting documentation and examples. The trial download is just the basic jar file (it is a slightly different size than the real jar).

The 30-day trial has it's own trial license, which explains the conditions of the trial. Basically, one developer in your company can use it for 30 days to see if it works with your data, but you can't actually use it for any "real" business purposes. The trial will ask you to confirm that you accept this license with a pop-up window (the full version has no such window).

The trial will also create a .ricebridge folder in your home directory to record the trial status. The full version DOES NOT do this. You can delete the .ricebridge folder once the trial is finished. Sorry about this, but otherwise you'd have to reconfirm the trial license every time, not just once.

Getting Started

"We use XML to process large volumes of transactions, and our nightly jobs were becoming all-day jobs. We replaced our old DOM code with a few XML Manager XPaths and the whole thing was really easy. Our production servers are running fine and the all the jobs are completed on time."
