Upgrade free within the same major version number

When you buy one of our products, you buy more than just a single version or one download. Purchasing a software license from us means that you get access to all versions of the product with the same initial major version number. So if you buy version 1.3 you get all versions from 1.0 to 1.9.

When you buy from us, we create a client account for you. With this account you can login to the online client area of this website. Our online client area allows you to download any version of the component you have purchased, at any time. This means you can keep up with bug fixes in a simple and effective manner. You will be informed by email (unless you have requested otherwise) and our news feeds whenever a new version is available.

Our online client area also acts as a backup for your software purchase. We make sure you can download the software that you have purchased wherever you are. Because we don't tie our software to any given installation, you have much more freedom.

The download service also allows you to downgrade to an earlier version if this is necessary for your software development project. We make sure that you have access to all earlier versions of our products. That means that when you buy a version 2.1 product, you can download any 0.*, 1.* and 2.* version and use that instead.

Existing customers are also offered a discount when upgrading to new major versions. This is dependent on the product and is decided on a per-launch basis.
